Katie Stackhouse is the designer and fibre artist behind Midnight Creative, an online shop specializing in handcrafted punch needle wall hangings, kits, patterns, and a small selection of hand-dyed, 100% wool rug yarn. Katie first discovered punch needle in 2017 and became a Certified Oxford Punch Needle Instructor in 2019. She offers both beginner and intermediate classes in and around Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Katie’s work often explores folk art motifs and is influenced by her family’s Canadian German-Mennonite heritage.
