Simone Vojvodin is an Advanced Certified Oxford Instructor, who is incredibly passionate about teaching Punch Needle rug hooking, sharing her love of the craft with students since 2011. A nature and animal lover, she resides on her farm near Dutton, Ontario where she has her studio, Red Maple Ruggery. Simone is the Dean of the international Oxford Rug Hooking School, overseeing the Oxford Instructor Certification program, director of programming, outreach and dedicating herself to spreading the joy and creativity of punch needle rug hooking all across the globe! She enjoys designing patterns, dying wool, helping students, and of course punching rugs! Her works have been featured in juried exhibitions in Canada and the U.S.A, been published in a variety of magazines and books, and have won multiple awards. Simone has written many magazine and newspaper articles on the subject of punch needle rug hooking, and is the author of the book "Mastering the Art of Punch Needle Rug Hooking" published by Rug Hooking Magazine.
