Simone Vojvodin is passionate about teaching punch needle rug hooking and has been an Oxford Certified Punch Needle Instructor since 2011. She enthusiastically shares her love of punch needle through classes, workshops and demonstrations for beginner punchers to advanced. A nature and animal lover, Simone resides near Parkhill, Ontario where she has her studio, Red Maple Ruggery. Simone designs original patterns, creates hand-dyed wool and yarns, carries a full range of rug making supplies and of course punches her own rugs which she describes as 'paintings in wool'. Her rugs have been featured in exhibitions in Ontario, Vermont and Ohio, published in magazines and books, and have won multiple awards.
