Maddy Fraioli is a third generation rug hooker and is Oxford and McGown Certified. She first started Punching Rugs when she met Amy Oxford in her Bristol Studio in the early 90's. She has taught this rug making technique nationally and internationally. She is an infrequent contributor to Rug Hooking Magazine, usually on a topic that speaks to the history, design, and cultural cloth as they relate to the rug making arts. Maddy is a founding member of the Buckeye Rug Hooking Guild and has served on its board in several capacities.
