Alaina Dickason Roberts
Underhill, Vermont
Alaina Dickason Roberts is a trained, professional structural engineer with a penchant for crafting and a love of color. As the daughter of Amy Oxford and the god-daughter of Cynthia McAdoo, Alaina has punch needle rug hooking in her blood. She has been punching since she was three years old and at age five, she invented a successful technique to secure loops that pulled out of her rugs, keeping them in place with Scotch tape. Alaina taught her first class when she was eleven, teaching the children in an adult/child class while her mother taught the grownups. Alaina earned her Oxford Punch Needle Rug Hooking Instructor Certification in 2019 and is looking forward to continuing the family tradition of teaching punch needle rug hooking. Alaina lives in Underhill, Vermont with her husband, two small children, and two dogs.
