David Pridmore is a Certified Oxford Punch Needle Rug Hooking Instructor based in Baltimore, Maryland. Largely self-taught - but guided by an eclectic stitchery group - he learned needlepoint and cross stitch at an early age. With a curiosity of wool fiber and Americana hooked rugs, he began to study basic rug hooking techniques from online tutorials and in person classes. Eventually this led to teacher training at the Oxford Rug Hooking School to become a Certified Oxford Instructor. David has an appreciation for the design esthetic of Early American, Primitive, Fraktur and Folk Art. He is drawn to nature for inspiration, uses earth tones, and colors of nature to create warmth.
