Kathy Donovan has raised heritage Karakul fat-tailed sheep for twenty-four years. Their fleece has been spun and woven into Persian carpets for centuries. Students enjoy learning about and discovering her sheep’s heritage. Giving students a new interest and skill is her passion. Punching is rhythmic and relieves stress. Kathy's focus is on combining yarn and wool fabric in projects, including reverse punching, using textures, and making rugs. She promote my craft by creating rug exhibits, demonstrating, vending, and teaching.

Kathy is a member of TIGHR (The International Guild of Handhooking Rugmakers), ATHA Chapter River City Rug Hookers, Mason-Dixon Hookers
