Policy, Registration & Cancellation Information
Registration Time Frames
Spots are limited so please register early!
We keep our classes very small so our students receive plenty of one on one attention. This means that many classes fill quickly. We recommend you register as soon as possible so you don’t miss out! If a class you wish to take is full please email: simone.orhschool@amyoxford.com to be added to the waitlist. You will be notified if a spot becomes available.
Cancellation Policy for Students
- Refunds of class registration fees (minus a $25 administration fee) are gladly given up to 45 days prior to the class start date.
- Alternatively, you may transfer your registration from one class to another up to 30 days prior to the start of class. You are responsible for any balances owing if the course you transfer to has a higher fee.
- Our Instructors put a significant amount of time and effort into preparing for classes, and material prep can be extensive so transfers after this time may not be possible, but are willing to consider requests.
- If kits for the original class have already been shipped, there will be no refund on those kit fees, and subsequent kit fees for the new class may apply.
- Registrations are not transferable to other students .
Class Cancellation by the School
The ORHS believes that every student is important, and will do their best to have all classes run. However, if the school must cancel a class for minimum numbers or any other reason, registered students will be given the opportunity to transfer their enrollment into another class. If there is no suitable class for students to transfer to, a full refund of the class fee will be given. This refund is for the Class fee only, and does not include kit or material fees, and associated shipping costs.
Instructor Substitutions
Our Instructors are dedicated teachers, however occasionally they may need to cancel due to emergency circumstances beyond their control. When this occurs, the ORHS may reschedule the class with the original instructor, or will attempt to find a qualified replacement instructor to teach the class. Should the ORHS be unable to facilitate either of these options, registered students will be given the opportunity to transfer to another class or cancel without penalty.
Class Materials and Kits
Please read each course description, kit description and any additional materials/tools list carefully for each course. Students are responsible for ordering the appropriate kits and attaining any additional materials or tools required for the project, as outlined in the course listing or in communications received after registration.
All Oxford Company Kits contain ample supplies for the projects, and we encourage our Instructors to also have ample in the Kits that they provide in the Instructor Designed Courses.. Since the occasional student may use more than expected, additional materials may be purchased from the Oxford Company or the Individual Instructor.
Due to the potential of environmental contamination no returns or refunds can be granted on any kits.
