Course Description:

Join in some St. Patrick's Day fun and make your own Lucky Clover project! 🍀 With your free digital pattern (included with registration), you can make your clover as big or small as you like—perfect for a coaster, trivet, chair pad, or even a lucky cushion. Learn about punching crisp lines, using stem stitch and beading stitch for embellishments, and more! It is sure to be a fun adventure that even leprechauns would love. 🍀

ORHS classes are recorded as a courtesy to students and the recording will be made available to registered participants for 30 days after the course. This allows you to review the lesson, or to catch up should you miss a class.

For this course you will need:
- Pattern (included in registration fee) printed to desired size
- Monk's cloth backing (size will vary depending on your chosen project size)
- Black sharpie marker
- Gripper frame- suitable size for your project
- Either #14 or #13 fine Oxford Punch Needles OR #10 regular Oxford Punch Needle
- 3 yarn colours (2 for the shamrock and 1 for the background) in suitable weight for chosen punch needle
- Small sharp scissors

To finish your project you will need:
- Iron and damp cloth for pressing.
- Large eye craft needle

Simone Vojvodin is an Advanced Certified Oxford Instructor who is incredibly passionate about teaching punch needle rug hooking, sharing her love of the craft with students since 2011. A nature and animal lover, she resides on her little farm near Dutton, Ontario where she has her studio, Red Maple Ruggery. Simone is the Dean of the Oxford Rug Hooking School, and oversees the Oxford Certification program, fulfilling her dream of dedicating herself to spreading the joy and creativity of punch needle rug hooking all across the globe! She loves designing patterns, dying wool, helping students, and of course punching rugs- which she describes as 'paintings in wool'. Her works have been featured in exhibitions in Canada and the U.S.A, published in magazines and books, and have won multiple awards. Simone is the author of various articles on the subject, and the book "Mastering the Art of Punch Needle Rug Hooking".
