Get ready to make a splash by diving into the exhilarating world of punch needle rug hooking. Create a little mat featuring a delightful, fishy friend, using the Oxford Company’s beautifully dyed wool rug yarns! The pattern “Tanked” was designed by Oxford Instructor Christopher Mammoser , to help you reel in some great foundational skills, along with tips and tricks. We will cover all the essential steps to successful punching, as well as the steps for finishing your rug. Don’t let this opportunity swim away; an Certified Oxford Instructor  Jean Orchard will guide through the entire process; whether you are a complete beginner or looking for a refresher, you are going to have a fin-tastic time in class with Jean!

ORHS classes are recorded as a courtesy to its students by the ORHS and its instructors, and the recording will be made available to course participants for 30 days after the course. This allows you to review the lesson, or to catch up should you miss a class.

Gripper frame, minimum 12” up to 18” in size recommended Frame Cover (optional)
Small sharp point scissors

Additional supplies you should have for finishing your rug: A large eye craft needle for hemming
Iron, and damp towels for pressing
Ruler, scissors, and black sharpie marker
