Advanced Certified Oxford Instructor Cotey Gallagher designed “Connection” for International Punch Needle Rug Hooking Day (IPNRHD) 2026. In Cotey’s words, IPNRHD, “is more than just a celebration; it’s a tapestry of connection, linking fiber artists through tradition, creativity, and the simple pleasure of making something beautiful, one loop at a time.” 

This pattern is 8” x 8" (20.3 x 20.3cm) and makes a small rug that is perfect for a tabletop decoration, a wonderful wall hanging, or it can even be turned into a pillow! Punch up multiples and stitch them together to form a larger wall hanging or rug!

This pattern works best on a 10” x10” (25.4 x 25.4cm) or larger frame.
