Course Description:
Learn to punch a juicy orange slice as a 6-inch Mug Rug with whipped hem or a 4-inch wood framed coaster that can also be made into a bag charm (hardware will be included). This is an easy-going pattern that is made with the regular Oxford Punch Needle. This class is a good introduction to the basic stitches for outline and fill with an emphasis on punching on a curve and filling in triangular spaces. Course Option 1 is make an approximately 4" wood-framed coaster project option, completed in a single session, with participants learning how to finish the project without sewing.
Option 2 is a two part class, making the larger, approximately 6" mug rug in the first session and learning to add a beautiful whip stitch edge in the second shorter session.
