Even as a small child, Agnes was an admirer of all forms of art and handicrafts. She became interested in creative work with wool and different colors and materials at a young age. She feels that fiber art and especially rug hooking is the one closest to her heart and hands. She feels like working with wool feels like she is taking a small piece of nature and pouring it into a piece of art. She feels it is important to share with others the joy of making things by hand, and to introduce this technique to an audience as large as possible. She has created her very own Rug Studio under the name AnnaKamadar, and opened a rug supply business. She holds several workshops and other courses with the intent of introducing North American rug hooking to the public. She is constantly working on new pieces, with her completed works exhibited in a smaller gallery, not far from her Rug Studio. She is a Certified Oxford Punch Needle Rug Hooking Instructor, a member of The Oxford Punch Needle Instructors Guild (OPNIG) and the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists (ATHA).
