International Punch Needle Rug Hooking Day 2023

On April 1st, punch needle rug hooking enthusiasts from around the world will pick up their punches on International Punch Needle Rug Hooking Day (IPNRHD). Our annual event was launched in 2010 by Oxford Certified Instructors and is a wonderful way to celebrate this much-loved craft and to participate in the rich world of the fiber arts.

We’ll also be celebrating by sharing photos and videos on social media. If you’d like to post pictures of yourself and your project please use the hashtag #IPNRHD. On your post, be sure to say where you’re from. It will be fun to see what countries are represented!

This year’s theme is “Friendship" and our 2023 IPNRHD Ambassador, Katie Stackhouse from Midnight Creative has designed a free "Friendship Tree" pattern. Katie says, "Whether you have a 'birds of a feather' friend, or friend that balances you out, I hope you'll be able to punch this together for IPNRHD."
