A fun and easy kit, perfect for all skill levels including beginners. These coasters make great gifts, decorations, or are the perfect spot for your morning cup of coffee or tea to rest. They are fresh new patterns that can easily be adapted depending on your proficiency with punch needle. 

We suggest using a #13 or #14 fine Oxford Punch Needle when making coasters. Loops that are longer than 1/4" thick are not sturdy and stable enough to keep a cup from tipping.

Build Your Own Kit includes the following:

• 2 - Sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper with the 4 traceable 4" diameter patterns. (One each of the Lotus, Geode, Plaid, and Wave patterns shown) Can easily be traced on a window or small light table 
• 5 - 1 oz balls in the colorway of your choice in worsted weight yarn. If you are using a #14 fine Oxford Punch Needle you will have enough to make 4 coasters, with some leftover!
• 1 - Piece of serged 24" x 24" monk's  cloth  - which will allow you to trace 4 coaster patterns.
• Easy to follow instructions

We recommend using a 14" x 14" or 18" x 18" Oxford Gripper Strip Frame to punch coasters. This will allow you to punch the project without having to move it on the frame.
